I've created this blog in order to help sufferers of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome aka CFS, M.E., CFIDS etc. I've suffered the debilitating effects of this illness for nearly 10 years, being unable to work, travel, socialise and felt very unwell a lot of the time, having to go back to bed 2 or 3 times every day. I won't go into all my symptoms but I will just say that I have a textbook case, which developed after I became ill with glandular fever aka infectious mononucleosis (mono).

About 4 months ago I started a new supplement regime which has made a whole world of difference and I want to share it with people who are looking for an effective treatment. Now I have a lot more energy, I even work out every day, go for long walks, sleep much less and generally feel very well a lot of the time. I hope to ease back into work sometime soon if I can find a suitable part-time job. I would say it's been an improvement from 40% wellness to 85% and still improving. I still get recurrent flu-like symptoms and the associated fatigue afterwards, but these episodes are much less frequent and I seem to recover quicker than before. I anticipate that these episodes will become increasingly less frequent with continued supplementation.

I don't have any vested interest in selling supplements and am not asking for money in exchange for this information - I just felt that there was a moral imperative to help others in my situation. I would have been extremely grateful for this information if I had found it earlier. Also please note I am not a doctor, so please ask advice from a practitioner if you are worried about the safety of these supplements or treatment - though they are all fairly common and innocuous products that you can buy in any pharmacy or health food shop.

I will list what I take. It's probably not a perfect regime and could probably be tweaked and improved if you are willing to take the time to study the biochemistry involved, but already it has proved greatly beneficial to me in this form I have used. Of course I can't guarantee that you will benefit from taking these supplements or how great a benefit might be, but considering how much better I feel I strongly recommend you try it!

I should point out that you may experience a detox reaction when you first start taking these supplements. I was surprised to find that I felt slightly nauseous in the mornings. I didn't presume it was due to detox but I'd never experienced it before, and it passed after about 2 weeks. Some detox symptoms are described in the webpage of Dr Myhill. If you experience a similar reaction which makes you feel very unwell, I would recommend you take lower doses of the supplements until you can continue comfortably and then slowly build up to the doses I describe if you can.

So here's my list of supplements that I take every day:

In the morning I take:
